Who are we?
My name is James McAloon Co-founder of Excentree Fashion Collections with my wife Mary McAloon. I am a law graduate, come environmental and ethical fashion designer. My wife is; my rock, confidante, best critic, voluntary bookkeeper and still she remains a fantastic primary school teacher.
How did we end up creating a clothing brand and fashion collections? The answer is, it just happened to be the right thing at the right time. I have always wanted to make a positive impact on the lives of others and the world we live in. I couldn’t practice medicine as I am far too squeamish and my hat goes off to all the wonderful people that do. There are some wonderful doctors, nurses and porters in the world and they have one of the most difficult jobs on the planet. So I tried my hand at Law, albeit incredibly interesting, the problem is and ask any lawyer this when it comes to what the right answer is and they will struggle to tell you the answer as there are so many contradictions, the path between helping and hindering is somewhat blinded by the law. However once again there are so many who strive to make our society just and righteous and the patience you take in doing so should be commended. So having found myself in
A bundle of ideas which from the outset that has taken nearly two years to transform into a reality, a product, a philosophy and an ethos that we truly believe will have a positive impact on the lives of others and the world we live in.
We have not been without help however, our friend and head art designer Yuli Kwak, has been inspirational in her artwork that can be seen on all her garments. Yuli has produced some wonderful pieces up until now and there will be so many more wonderful designs to enjoy in the future.
Excentree is not about pushing a message. It is not about telling you how to live your life; it is not about telling anyone what to do or not to do, it is not about telling anyone what to buy or what not to buy. It is about us all doing our best, living our lives, being aware of our surroundings, enjoying those surroundings and helping everyone make an informed decision be that decision what it may.
Here is a short overview of our major policies. Seung Yeong Kim is our wonderful photography artist who has pictured all our garments; she is a very talented photographer who has much to offer her art. Taru Malik and Reena our web designers have listened to all my oddities and requests and created a magnificent website for you to enjoy. Many thanks to you all.

Excentree will provide each customer with a coupon code attached to the hang tag of their garment which allows them to plant a tree using an online virtual scene with the help of our partner’s seedourfuture.org. The user can choose to plant the tree in 1 of 17 different worldwide plantation sites and a certificate of authenticity is provided.

£ 0.50 or $ 0.66 from every purchase goes toward the Excentree GIVE Foundation. Ultimately it is our aim to build and maintain orphanages in countries that have been affected by war. We aim to help the future children of our society who have been deprived of the caring hands of their parents a start in life that every child deserves.
Excentree limited production, limited edition
Excentree produces only a limited amount of garments to keep you and our planet looking unique and beautiful. We only produce a limited amount of each garment design and that particular design will never be repeated. So when you are wearing an Excentree top you will be one of fewer than 100 people in the world wearing that top.
